Well that's a waste of time. Myself, I think that the bloke is a blithering idiot - anyone who's got to his age without discovering the simple joys of a good shag has summat wrong with 'em IMHO - but that's popes for you. Simple truth of the matter is that this twonk believes that he's speaking for "Holy Mother Church"... and she isn't a democrat. You'd be better off signing a petition to ask cows to fart less.

ReplyDeleteI did wonder when I signed the petition whether it might be pointless because of the nature of the organisation. However, I think the fact that officials backtracked on his original statement shows some unease and some internal debate in the Catholic Church. In any case you have to give it a go!!
Its also about creating debate amongst the public on the issue and getting pressure applied for safer sexual practices everywhere.
