Doesn't the party whip system make it pretty impossible to go against the political grain in parliament?
ReplyDeleteThe power of whips and the whip system should be challenged and changed but even under the current system I'd expect MPs not to just follow the party line. As far as the Greens are concerned we are opposed to whipping and would not operate one.
